HOW IT WORKS

When you arrive at your race, please come by the Playtri Bike Tent (Look for our Blue Flags), which will be located inside the Ironman Expo Athlete Village.

Please bring the ORANGE IRONMAN CLAIM TICKET WITH YOUR BIB NUMBER ON IT for the service to begin. We will not be able to serve you without receiving the ORANGE IRONMAN CLAIM TICKET.

Bring your pedals, bike shoes, and accessories. If you wish to use your own seat, you may bring that as well. Our technician will fit the bike to your measurements and make the needed adjustments.

Post race, we will either retrieve the bike from the transition area for you or you may be required to drop it off at our tent inside transition on race day. Please check with our technicians on details of the logistics of your specific race when you arrive for your rental bike pick up and fit.

Book your bike early as the supplies may be limited.

ALL bikes come with carbon frames, carbon race wheels, at least one water bottle cage (some tri bikes do not fit 2 bottle cages on the frame)

Notice to All Athletes

Effective September 1, 2025 - All rental bikes, no matter when the reservation was made, will no longer be given saddle bags/flat repair kits. We will have them for sale in our tent or you can bring yours from home. If you purchase a saddle bag from us, it is yours to take home.

No Refunds after reservation has been made. For any questions prior to booking, please reach out to ironman@playtri.com.

RESERVE RENTAL BIKE

***If a bike isn't booked at least 4 weeks before the event, it might not be available.

If you are booking within 3-4 weeks of the event, please contact ironman@playtri.com to confirm availability.

Your Rental Bike will be sized to your specific needs.

Bike Rental Level 1 - $699
Level 1 bikes will be Hyper Tri Bikes - Guaranteed Electronic Shifting (These come with aerobars built in)

Examples of What our Hyper Tri Bike is:

Argon18 E119 Tri plus

(These frames only have 1 spot for a bottle cage on the frame. We strongly recommend bringing your rear and/or front hydration mounts)

Bike models are not guaranteed. They are just examples of quality.

Bike Rental Level 2 - $549

Level 2 bikes will be Standard Tri Bikes - Will be Mechanical Shifting (These come with aerobars built in)

Examples of What our Standard Tri Bike is:

Cervelo P2/P3, Argon 18 E-117, Felt B Performance

(These frames will come with at least 1 bottle cage on the frame. If the frame can hold 2 bottle cages, then we will have on 2 on there. We recommending bringing your front and/or rear hydration mounts)

These models are not guaranteed. They are just examples of quality.

Bike Rental Level 3 - $399

Level 3 bikes will be Road Bikes ONLY - Will be mechanical shifting (These DO NOT come with aerobars. Please see our Bike Rental FAQ page for more details)

Examples of What our Road Bikes are:

Argon18 Gallium, Felt FR, Pinarello Gan

(These frames come with 2 bottle cages on the frame. We still recommend bringing rear and/or front hydration mounts if you want more hydration spots)
