Shimano Dura-Ace WH-9000 C75 Carbon Tubular Wheelset
The Dura-Ace 9000 C75 is the deepest wheel in Shimano’s 11-speed Dura-Ace line, built for riders who want maximum aerodynamic benefit. Its 75 mm full-carbon rim is tubular-only, with a carbon braking surface, and it suits time trials, triathlons, flat road races and fast group rides.
Aero design: The rim uses Shimano’s D2 profile, about 24 mm wide, designed to keep airflow smooth and steady across the wheel. At 75 mm deep, it gives up some crosswind friendliness for speed, so it rewards riders who value outright pace over low-speed handling.
Hubs and spokes: The hubs have wide-set flanges, which add torsional and lateral stiffness and improve power transfer. Shimano’s OPTBAL 2:1 lacing balances spoke tension on the rear wheel, and the bladed stainless-steel spokes are straight pull. The rear freehub body is titanium, which resists cassette bite, and the hubs use Shimano’s cup-and-cone bearings, which you can adjust by hand.
